air fryer plantains

Do you love plantains but hate the whole process of frying them then flattening them to re-fry again? Here a simpler way to make them by just using your air fryer. They came out extremely crispy just like I fried them. 


  • 4 plantains 
  • 1/2 teaspoon course salt


  1. Peel your plantains and slice them into equal parts so they will cook evenly.
  2. in a bowl, mix olive oil, and toss.
  3. Set your air fryer to 400° for 10 minutes.
  4. Flip them around and let them cook for another 10 minutes.
