Miso Glazed Salmon

Elevate your lunch game with this delicious and healthy miso glazed salmon recipe. Made with tender salmon fillets marinated in a sweet and savory miso-based glaze, and baked to perfection, this dish is a flavorful and nutritious option for a quick and satisfying lunch. Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tbsp miso paste
  • 3 tbsp sake or dry white wine
  • 3 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the miso paste, sake or white wine, mirin, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil in a small saucepan. Heat over moderate heat until the mixture is heated and the sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  2. Set your oven heat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush the miso glaze over the top of each fillet.
  3. Bake for 15 mins or until the salmon is cooked and the glaze is caramelized.
  4. Drizzle sesame seeds and green onions over the top of the salmon and serve. Enjoy!
