Sea Bream with Tomato & Herb Salsa

Sea bream is a delicious and healthy fish perfect for a quick and easy dinner. A simple mixture of spices is used to season the fish in this recipe and served with a fresh and flavorful tomato and herb salsa. This dish is light, refreshing, and packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 4 sea bream fillets
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and crushed black pepper to taste
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. red wine vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200°C). Sprinkle the sea bream fillets with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and crushed black pepper on both sides. In a non-stick skillet, heat the two tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sea bream fillets to the skillet and cook for three minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked. Remove the sea bream fillets from the skillet and transfer them to a baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, parsley, basil, red onion, wine vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Spoon the tomato and herb salsa over the seabream fillets, covering them evenly.
  4. Bake the sea bream in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until the salsa is hot and the fish is cooked. Remove the baking dish and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  5. Serve the sea bream hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs, if desired.
