Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped into florets
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 servings of udon noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Mix the oyster, soy, hoisin, and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  2. Warm the vegetable oil over high heat in a large pan or wok. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 mins.
  3. Take away the beef from the pan and set aside. Stir in the broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 mins until just tender.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for another 2-3 mins until fragrant. Return the beef to the pan and pour in the sauce mixture.
  5. Cook the beef and vegetables until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 mins. Serve stir-fry with the cooked udon noodles, garnished with fresh cilantro leaves.
